Despite criticisms thrown at Davao City Mayor Duterte A political analyst said his presidential ratings will possibly further increase due to growing number of supporters.
Political analyst Prof. Prospero De Vera predicted Duterte’s former rating of 12 percent may raise up to 16 percent at the Pulse Asia Survey.
“Sa tingin ko lumalakas si Mayor Duterte dahil sa pag-ikot niya, mas lalo siyang nakikilala ng mga botante at merong move na lumakas ‘yung kanyang suporta mula sa mga Bisaya,” De Vera said in an interview with DZMM."

Meanwhile, the mayor, although denying allegations that he is running for president, was seen in a 35-second video that appears to be a television advertisement entitled “Leak video of Duterte’s campaign ad?”
